Mercedes is preparing to sign a deal with Adidas to replace Puma and Tommy Hilfiger, the current clothing partners of the team.

According to an exclusive report by Daily Mail, Mercedes has reached an agreement with Adidas to become the official clothing and merchandise partner for the Formula 1 team next season.

Apparently, this deal is set to be worth millions of dollars.

According to information obtained by Daily Mail, Adidas will provide significant commercial support by replacing Puma, the current supplier of racing attire, and Tommy Hilfiger, the clothing partner.

Mercedes' priority this year seems to be securing a deal with a good name to fill the void left by Hamilton's move to Ferrari. However, signing a deal with a major global partner like Adidas demonstrates the team's commercial appeal even without the seven-time world champion British driver.

It's claimed that the new agreement is more valuable for Mercedes than the combined annual £6 million contracts with Hilfiger and Puma, potentially earning the company tens of millions of pounds.

For Adidas, the new agreement will be significant, particularly after losing sponsorship rights for the German national football team earlier this month, marking a major setback after 70 years.

As of now, there has been no statement from Mercedes or Adidas regarding the matter.
